Minneapolis Transportation Career Pathways Program
AICS is partnering with the City of Minneapolis, the MN Trucking Association and area trucking employers to assist East African refugees in obtaining a commercial trucking license and job placement.
Eligible candidates must already possess their commercial truck driving permit, be able to pass a background check, have U.S. work authorization, and be willing to participate in AICS’ job readiness activities and intensive ESL classes (as needed). Funding from the City of Minneapolis will cover the cost of the trucking school tuition. This is a pilot program with limited slots.
